Euro forms regional strategic council

ASIA-PACIFIC - Euro RSCG has established a strategic council for Asia-Pacific, to be led by regional chief strategy officer Matt Donovan (pictured).

The council will aim to strengthen a culture of strategy within the network in Asia by pooling resources and insight and offering guidance to strategy leaders. It will consist of six strategy officers in addition to Donovan, including Sharon Chen for Greater China, Dhiren Amin for India, Francois de Riviere and Yvette Lim, a specialist in shopper behaviour, for Southeast Asia, and Will Nichols for Australia.

The formation of the council was unveiled at Euro’s global leadership meeting in Shanghai.

"We believe the strategy department of the future is borderless,” said Donovan. “It is no longer enough to only offer a creative planner. Clients need an agency with deep experience across many types of strategy, be it brand, creative, experiential, digital, engagement & channel, shopper, or data & behavioural strategy. Our new look strategy council is one of a number of initiatives we have been taking to deliver this belief."
