The service will premiere on Indonesian telco PT Bakrie Telecom’s new mobile sports platform - SPORTesia. Other regional telcos are expected to sign up in coming months, according to the broadcaster.

Star Sports Mobile is an extension of the sports broadcaster’s earlier mobile offering - mobileESPN - that was launched regionally across Asia-Pacific in May 2006.
