ESPN Star Sports Asia chief Davis steps down

SINGAPORE - ESPN Star Sports (ESS) Asia managing director Jamie Davis has stepped down from his role, although he's expected to continue working with the sports broadcaster in a consultant capacity.

Davis, who joined ESS in 2005, has been replaced by Manu Sawhney, effective immediately.

Sawhney was most recently executive vice-president of programming and marketing, as well as overseeing the broadcaster’s network presentation and marketing and communications functions.

Sawhney joined ESS in 1996 as marketing manager.
