ESPN Star Sports acquires Olympics rights

SINGAPORE - ESPN Star Sports has acquired exclusive non-standard TV rights for the cable and satellite broadcast of the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Olympic Games in 22 countries across the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

The agreement will see the broadcaster deliver 200 hours of coverage for the 2012 Olympic Games and 60 hours of coverage for the 2010 Winter Games.
