eLong hands creative to McCann Beijing

BEIJING - China's number two online travel service provider eLong has handed its brand creative duties to McCann Erickson and MRM, after a pitch that included three other agencies.

Previously handled by Nitro, the win will see the two McCann Worldgroup agencies join forces to support eLong’s brand and promotion activities both on- and offline. It also marks the first time that eLong has appointed a 4As agency.

“McCann’s strong track record with other tourism related clients, the integrated service with MRM, and the impressive creative capacity give eLong very strong faith in this new relationship”, said P Thomas Chen, vice-president of marketing at eLong.
