EIBTM to offer initiatives to enhance 2005

SHOW EIBTM has launched a number of initiatives to enhance this year's show.

show EIBTM has launched a number of initiatives to enhance this year's show. "The board will be a barometer for us on industry trends so we can ensure the show addresses the right issues," said group exhibition director Paul Kennedy. "It will also be a sounding board for new show features." Among these new features is an educational and networking programme for corporate planners. Scheduled to take place on the last day, it is one of a series of initiatives to ensure delegates remain at the show until the very end. "All shows tend to peter out on the last day and we want to reverse this trend," said Kennedy. Other initiatives include arranging post-show fam trips, a 'meetings services pavilion' for pan-global service providers and a reappraisal of the appointment system.
