Edwin Koh exits MediaCorp

SINGAPORE – Senior vice president of marketing and group sales planning Edwin Koh has left MediaCorp.

Edwin Koh has left MediaCorp after five years

In an e-mail to business partners he said that Friday 7 October was his last day with the company.

Koh has been with MediaCorp for over five years, most recently as SVP marketing and previously heading up advertising sales across the company’s TV, radio, print, online and outdoor media offerings.

He joined MediaCorp back in 2006, joining from Samsung where he was senior director. Prior to that Koh was senior director (consumer marketing) at SingTel and strategic manager (corporate marketing) at Asia Pacific Breweries.

Koh is understood to be on three months' leave before starting a new job in January 2012.

MediaCorp confirmed that Koh has left the company to pursue other interests, "We wish him well in his future endeavours," the company said.

This is MediaCorp's second senior departure this year, Clifton Yong, then chief commercial officer, left the company in July.

Yong's exit came soon after the promotion of Shaun Seow to MediaCorp CEO and board director, replacing Lucas Chow who resigned in January 2011.
