Reporting to Fleishman Hillard’s general manager for Australia Fiona Tigar, Edgington will be responsible for business development within the firm’s Technology Group.
Edginton joins Fleishman Hillard from Spiralgroup, a San Francisco-based social media and marketing consultancy, where he held the position of vice president.
Having begun his marketing career in Sydney in the mid-eighties, Edginton worked at a number of radio stations as a copywriter, progressing to senior public relations roles at various technology start-up firms in Silicon Valley including Novell, CacheFlow and marchFirst.
