Easy Finder advertisers desert title
Hong Kong magazine Easy Finder has suffered an almost 30 per cent drop in ads after publishing its controversial cover featuring semi-naked Canto-pop star Gillian Chung Yan-tung in late August.

In the first issue since the controversy broke full-page advertisements have dropped almost 36 per cent, with double-page spreads down by more than 60 per cent, according to recent figures released by Carat Hong Kong. Some growth in horizontal and vertical half-pages has steadied the total drop in advertising to 27 per cent overall.

The picture that sparked the controversy was taken without the Canto-pop star's knowledge as she changed backstage during a concert in Malaysia.

The singer has since filed a writ against the magazine.
