Wunderman will also be setting up operations in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Duggal was previously with Thompson Connect, where he was director of client services.
Wunderman CEO Rajat Sethi also confirmed that the agency would announce a new business development director by the end of January, based in Chennai. He pointed to coalition partnerships as a key driver of future growth.
"We are also looking at investing in media such as mobile marketing and direct response TV. As customers become more multi-modal, the challenge will be to create a meaningful dialogue in the media of their choice. Finally, we are planning to restructure our teams to be aligned with key industry verticals."
Duggal takes up Mumbai posting with Wunderman
Wunderman India has named Sanjeev Duggal as its new head of client operations in Mumbai, which is gearing up to launch a new relationship centre, offering data, web and telephony integration.
