DRB Hicom hunts media agency

KUALA LUMPUR - DRB-HICOM, a big player in Malaysia's automotive, services, property, infrastructure and defence sectors, is on the lookout for a media agency to handle media placement for the group and its subsidiaries.

The corporate group, which among other things assembles foreign cars for Honda, Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai in Malaysia, invited six media agencies to pitch for the account.

A spokesperson for DRB Hicom confirmed the news and said that the company had subsequently shortlisted four media agencies.
