Dragonair and DHL win big at MTR awards

HONG KONG - The Best of the Best Awards 2007 for MTR Advertising, organised by JCDecaux Pearl and Dean and the MTR Corporation, last night saw Dragonair and DHL win platinum for use of creative and media, respectively.

Dragonair also won the new product campaign gold award for its Fukuoka and Sendai Route Launch campaign, created by McCann Worldgroup Hong Kong and media agency Universal McCann.

DHL’s All the Way campaign, created by Ogilvy and MEC, also took home gold for best branding campaign.

MEC, which scored three gold awards, was also awarded the certificate of excellence for media innovation, while Ogilvy took the corresponding certificate for creative.

MEC’s Alfred Cheng took home the certificate for media planner of the year, while McCann Worldgroup ECD Sylvester Song won the certificate for creative professional of the year.

Other gold winners included Campbell Soup, for best interactive campaign, H&M for best integrated campaign, and Cathay Pacific for best use of airport express advertising.
