DraftFCB revamps Thailand leadership

BANGKOK - DraftFCB Thailand has revamped its senior management by promoting Anucha Viriyachai (pictured) to chief executive and Apirak Paul Apisarnthanarak to managing director, following the retirement of Barry Smit, its former MD.

Viriyachai was previously general manager of the agency while Apisarnthanarak headed its business and account planning division.

“We’re looking to restructure to make this organization more dynamic, while maintaining our core strength of high accountability in clients' results,” said Apisarnthanarak.

“There’s also a new collaborative working process where everyone shares their experiences and expertise in growing our clients’ businesses - before formulating solutions that best address their needs.”

Smit, who spent over 20 years at the agency, is retiring and will remain as a consultant to the Interpublic agency.
