The Asian Wall Street Journal posted a double-digit circulation
increase again in last year's second half, according to figures from the
Hong Kong Audit Bureau of Circulation.
The Journal's total average net circulation per issue between July and
December 1999 rose 10.1 per cent from a year earlier to 68,005 copies,
the audited figures show.
That follows a 10.2 per cent year-to-year increase, to 65,378 copies, in
the first half.
"We are working hard to make the Asian Wall Street Journal even more
relevant and useful, and we're gratified that more and more readers are
finding value in the paper," said AWSJ publisher and executive editor
Urban Lehner.
The AWSJ has 75 full-time journalists in 15 news bureaus in Asia and is
printed in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul,
Taipei, Manila and Jakarta.
