Domingo steps down from Carat Philippines role

MANILA - Jocelyn Domingo (pictured), the president of Carat Philippines, is stepping down from her post after five years in the role, and the search is underway for her replacement.

Domingo will continue as a consultant and a non-operating director of the company, but relinquishes her day-to-day management duties.

Richard Halmarick, CEO of Aegis Media Australasia and Southeast Asia, commented: “Jocelyn has done a great job, and her leadership and clear direction for Carat is testament to the success and growth the agency is enjoying."

He added: "I will be announcing Jocelyn’s successor in the near future. We are fortunate to have a lot of interest in the position from top executives in the industry. We are interviewing at present."

Domingo calls time on a colourful career in media. She was regional sales director of the Dow Jones title, Far Eastern Economic Review.

She also enjoyed a stint as VP of advertising sales of Time Warner's now defunct news weekly Asiaweek, both in Hong Kong and New York.

She joined Carat as president in 2003.
