At least 10 agencies are understood to have responded to Disney’s RFP before the field was narrowed to four shortlisted contenders.
Both agencies have been tasked with deepening Disney’s relatively underdeveloped connection in mainland China.
The scope of the project will include working across Disney’s numerous platforms in China, spanning television, movies, home entertainment, internet, mobile, publishing and consumer products.
Although still to be confirmed, the first work is expected to break in October of this year.
