But four months after the labour arbiter's ruling in Galera's favour, the agency's former managing director is nowhere near to getting her old position back or the 170 million pesos (US$3.5 million) compensation arising from her illegal dismissal suit.
MindShare's holding company, WPP, is appealing both counts of the ruling, saying the compensation order was made "with the gravest possible abuse of discretion".
WPP has argued that the law disallows the reinstatement of a dismissed employee, where trust is involved.
Stepping up the pressure, Galera has asked the labour arbiter to cite WPP for contempt.
