Discovery rebrands HD in APAC

ASIA-PACIFIC - Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific has launched a refreshed logo and on-air look for Discovery HD in Asia-Pacific as part of an international rebranding exercise.

The relaunch will include brand spots, identities and bumpers plus new programming from September. The new look will be rolled out in other markets including the UK and Europe, as well as Latin America, from July. 

“The new Discovery HD logo and on-air look gives the brand a more modern feel while reflecting its global appeal. Our viewers can continue to expect the very best in quality programming and enjoy the ultimate viewing experience through our high-definition programmes that showcase the wonders of our world in amazing detail,” said Tom Keaveny, executive vice-president and managing director, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific. 

Earlier this year, Discovery Channel’s logo was also updated in all international markets.
