Discovery Networks promotes Dickie
Discovery Networks Asia has promoted Kevin Dickie to senior vice president, marketing and communications. <BR><BR> Formerly VP of marcoms for the broadcaster, Dickie (pictured) will be responsible for developing communications plans for its portfolio of seven brands, which include Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Discovery Travel & Living. Dickie will continue to be based in Singapore, and will report to Tom Keaveny executive vice president and managing director, Discovery Networks Asia. <BR><BR> The appointment follows news the broadcaster's flagship channel, Discovery Channel, will now be available to consumers in Hong Kong through Now Broadband TV, in addition to the original bundle of five channels launched in 2003.
