The promotions are in line with the creation of new two new lines of business for Southeast Asia and North Asia to complement the network’s existing operations in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, India and China.

Dickie, who was senior vice president of marketing and communications, has been named senior vice president and general manager, Southeast Asia while Tommy Lin, vice president and country manager for Discovery Taiwan, has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager of North Asia to oversee operations across Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong.
In addition, Fang Chang, vice president and country manager for China, has been promoted to senior vice president, general manager and public affairs, China and Mandy Pattinson, vice president and country manager for Discovery Australia and New Zealand, has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager.
The promotions also follow the recent appointment of Rahul Johri as senior vice president and general manager for Discovery India to integrate Discovery’s India and Asia operations.

SINGAPORE - Discovery Networks Asia has appointed Kevin Dickie to the newly created role of general manager for Southeast Asia while announcing a slew of executive promotions across its Australia, China and Taiwan offices.
