SINGAPORE A new dinner theatre has opened in Singapore providing a much-need indoor option for large corporate groups and, its founder believe, a more economical option to established venues. Igor's in the Waterfront Stadium precinct on the East Coast that can seat up 300 with a stage show during dinner. The concept was popular with incentive houses and conference organisers (for post-events) in Hong Kong and Igor's Group founder and chief executive officer Mr Chris Lenz is hoping to recreate a similar clientele in Singapore. Mr Lenz said the restaurant can be themed for companies and company personalities and themes incorporated into the show, menus and meals. He said he wanted to provide an economical alternative to hotels in Singapore and their themed events. "We consider Igor's to be a great place for incentives, its unique and a one stop shop," Mr Lenz said. "When I used to work in hotels and incentives came to us for a theme dinner it was a license to make big dollars. "I know what I charged then and know that Igors offers a better bang for the buck." Mr Lenz said he was in the process of informing destination management companies, professional conference organisers and corporate decision-makers of the new venue.
