Marketing services shop Solutions will be rebranded Solutions | Digitas and will continue to be led by managing director Srikant Sastri and president Kanika Mathur. They will report to Digitas' global chief executive, Alan Rutherford.
The goal is to offer Digitas' global clients an outlet in India and Southeast Asia. The company will also seek to build up Prodigious, Digitas' digital production outsourcing division.
Prior to the Solutions deal, Digitas' Asia coverage was limited to Japan, China and Hong Kong. The agency purchased Chinese agency CCG last year.
