DiGi appoints head of corporate affairs

SHAH ALAM - DiGi Telecommunications, one of Malaysia's fastest growing mobile operator, has appointed Zaiton Hj Idrus to head its corporate affairs division succeeding Tunku Alizakri, who has left the company after a four-year stint to pursue personal interests.

Johan Dennelind, CEO of DiGi said, "I am pleased to welcome her on board and look forward to have her lead the corporate affairs division in solidifying our stakeholder management strategy."

In her new capacity, Idrus will oversee corporate communications, corporate relations, corporate responsibility, legal and regulatory, and will be responsible for strategising plans that will contribute towards the company's goal.

Idrus has thirty years of experience in the profession and has formerly worked with Petronas and Standard Chartered Bank.
