Your all-time favourite film and why?
The Scent of Green Papaya. A French Vietnamese movie, cute story, happy ending and beautifully photographed.
Favourite book or CD?
Book:Perfume by Patrick Suskind.
CD: Anything by Rod Stewart, loud.
Favourite print title?
Newsweek. It's got a bit of everything.
Favourite restaurant?
There's a great little place in Palm Beach, Sydney called 'The Cove' high above the ocean. I like the Peak Lookout in November. Maxims in Star House for Peking Duck. La Brasser and anywhere with good 'long mai fahn'.
Do you have a favourite gadget?
We are doing some work for Maserati and I have taken a shine to those Spyders. That's the kind of gadget I like, phones are for talking on, and my diary is only on paper.
Favourite fashion designer?
Thierry Mugler. Best shirts in the world
Weirdest thing in your closet?
I would never admit to actually owning a leopard skin jacket but ... it's in there somewhere.
What are your hobbies?
Playing football every week.
Favourite holiday destination?
Maldives for swimming, New York for shopping, Thailand for food and because it's not so far away.
Who would play you in a movie?
People with poor eyesight say I look like Mel Gibson. But I think Uma Thurman would do a better job.
How would you title your movie?
Probably give it a curious title.
If you were a brand, what would it be?
Maserati. Got heritage. Got grace. Got character.
All-time favourite ad?
Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet. All Brits grew up on those ads.
