Diary: On the spot - Kitty Lun, General manager and executive creative director, Arnold Worldwide China

What's the best part of your job?

The excitement of having to re-invent yourself every day. It's never boring. No two problems are exactly the same. Previous experience does not count. You are as good as the last campaign you created.

And the worst?

The pressure of having to re-invent yourself every day!

Your all-time favourite film and why?

Metropolis. It is a fascinating prophecy as well as a touching story that triggers deep feelings. Ultra-modern art direction, production design and cinematography - the craft is genius.

Favourite book or CD?

Atlas Shrugged, my first and favourite Ayn Rand book. The heroine's will to create success has been a major influence on me through the years. Rand's 'objectivism' is an honest and no-nonsense ideology in this capitalistic world. She was way ahead of her time.

Favourite print title?

Wallpaper.

Favourite restaurant?

T-8, Shanghai.

Do you have a favourite gadget?

Sony Clie.

Favourite fashion designer?

Giorgio Armani.

Weirdest thing in your closet?

The absence of fancy jewellery.

What are your hobbies?

Swimming, antique collecting, model-making, reading.

Favourite holiday destination?

Tokyo, Japan.

Who would play you in a movie?

Katherine Hepburn.

How would you title your movie?

Never Look Back.

If you were a brand, what would it be?

Muji.

All-time favourite ad?

Apple's '1984'.

Please finish this line: I wish I could ...

Travel the world as a back-packer during my college days.

Last thing to cross your mind before bed?

I am thankful for having lived another exciting day and I look forward to the next.
