What's the best part of your job?

Working for an organisation I believe in and competing with ones which I don't. And the view through my window ...

And the worst?

I find email a chore. Travel's an utter curse; it's the jet lag which does me in.

Your all-time favourite film and why?

Groundhog Day and Shakespeare in Love. Both combine humour with profundity about the human condition.

Favourite book or CD?

Girlfriend in a Coma by Douglas Coupland. Favourite CD is The Hour of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy

Favourite restaurant and dish?

The nicest food of my life was at Gordan Ramsey's in London. For everyday eating, BBC's canteen for lasagne.

Do you have a favourite gadget?

My bike, a Cannondale hybrid. Makes my heart race every time I sit on it.

Favourite fashion designer?

I've rarely needed to look further than Alan Chan for my t-shirts, and Vivianne Tam for my evening wear.

What are your hobbies?

Is there a word for bitching and moaning about everyone, and all the unfairness of everything, all the time?

Where did you go on your holiday?

Skiing in Slovenia. A cheap alternative to Switzerland and France, especially if you don't mind lack of actual snow.

Who would play you in a movie?

Unlikely to happen, but I'll go for Christopher Reeve's head transplanted onto Bruce Lee's body.

How would you title your movie?
