DIARY: On the spot - Glenn James Bartlett

Glenn James Bartlett, Creative director, Modem Media, Hong Kong

What's the best part of your job? I've been able to travel and work in a lot of interesting places with interesting people.

And the worst? That some still don't understand the importance and potential of the interactive medium.

Your all-time favourite film and why? Bladerunner. Beautiful in every aspect that the word can be used to describe a film. Brazil runs a close second.

Favourite book or CD? Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. The book also features the art of my favourite illustrator Ralph Steadman.

Favourite restaurant and dish? Yakiniku Hiroba Jan in Shibuya, Tokyo. Shabu shabu is great, place is fun.

Do you have a favourite gadget? Anything that is fun, completely useless and I'll have no chance of ever justifying.

Favourite fashion designer? Love so many ... but Hugo Boss makes the nicest suits, mind you the Mongkok market in Hong Kong sports some pretty crazy threads.

What are your hobbies? Trying to learn Cantonese and riding motorcycles; I'm waiting for my bike to be shipped from overseas.

Where did you go on your vacation? Canada for Christmas.

Who would you want to play you in a movie? Oliver Reed, but he's passed away, so I guess it has to be Sally Struthers ... she needs a break.

How would you title your movie? Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Please finish this line, I wish I could ... be everywhere and nowhere.
