What's the best part of your job? The two minutes after the phone call telling you that you have won a pitch.

And the worst? The minute after that when you realise that you need to start recruiting again.

Your all-time favourite film and why? Independence Day - it is fun to watch a few times, it has some great one-liners, the cast work really well together, it has cool stuff getting blown up and it features winning against the odds - something we do a lot at Tarantula!

Favourite book or CD? Stanlingrad by Antony Beevor. If I had read this at school I might have enjoyed history lessons.

Favourite print title? Yachting Monthly (It reminds me why I have to work).

Favourite restaurant? The Ivy, London.

Do you have a favourite gadget? My Palm handheld computer - my life would fall apart without it.

Favourite fashion designer? Ralph Lauren.

What's the weirdest thing we'll find in your closet? Diapers (the baby is due in April).

What are your hobbies? Sailing (yes, even in Shanghai!); trying to remember how to play the piano.

Favourite holiday destination? England.

How would you title your movie? Shanghai Surprise.
