DIARY: My media, Maurizio Caduto, executive creative director, McCann-Erickson

Television

When I happen to turn on a TV, I go straight to Discovery Channel, The National Geographic Channel and of course Cartoon Network.

When I'm in the mood for something special, I watch the Chinese channels.

When I want to depress myself I watch CNN or HBO.

Press

Press, my love: Wall Street Journal, The National Geographic every month, Asia Diver, Action Asia, Outdoor Photographer, Bikes, Time, The Economist and pretty much everything within reach... Just a shame that I can't read Chinese.

Websites

I particularly like websites designed to be rich, cool and simple.

Unfortunately some of my favourite ones don't seem to be available in China. Tucows.com and Fool.com are still among the best.

Design websites are great. I regularly log into my clients' websites and their competitors'.

And yes, weather.com and weatherunderground.com, lah.

Advertising

Communication Art and Archive are my regular reading, as well as annuals from all over the world.

And, I'm pretty sure I've read media and other trade publications in every office I have been in so far.

Now and again I manage to get a copy of Baseline - but that's tough.

Radio.

Oh boy, if only I could speak Chinese.
