DIARY: My media - Jerry Yee, general manager, OMD Interactive

Television

The channel which has impressed me most this year has to be AXN. A year ago, it would air what I considered to be B or C-rate television series. This year, it has adopted 'cooler' and more fun viewing, which gives you the feeling you are in a totally different world. I'm also a huge movie buff, so always switch onto HBO. For news, it's CNBC and CNN.

Press

Living in Hong Kong, I get my dose of local news from either Apple Daily or the South China Morning Post. I also pick up The Asian Wall Street Journal for a wider perspective. I used to read Wired and Business 2.0, but the content is not as compelling as it used to be. I always pick up Wallpaper.

Websites

I like surfing on design websites. One interesting site is www.devx.com. It tells you about leading-edge sites, although it's mostly Europe-centric. Virgin's radio site is another good one, featuring a variety of music, from hip hop to jazz. And because I love surfing, I tune into stormtracker.com to keep an eye on the waves.

Advertising

It's got to be Microsoft's Xbox ads. There's a lot of great creative and the concept fits in well with the product.

Radio

When I lived in Taiwan, I always tuned into radio channels UFO and ICRT. I don't listen to it too much here.
