Television
Discovery Channel is my favourite.
There is always so much variety, not just wild life, but archeology,
travel, scientific mysteries and so on ... it's entertaining, yet it is
also very educational.
Press
HK Magazine is among a few print titles I cannot do without.
If Hong Kong wants to be a world city, then it cannot do without a
vibrant cultural scene.
A listings magazine is essential to not only provide information about
what's happening around town, but to also act as a catalyst to inspire
more events to happen.
Websites
Yahoo because it is practical, functional and informational.
Nowadays, whenever I am doing some product research, I invariably go to
this site for informaiton.
Before the days of the internet, it was the stuffy old university
library.
Advertising
Absolut Vodka.
Despite the many imitations of this ad campaign, it is still on the
cutting edge and is always able to surprise.
This proves that a simple but potent idea, when expertly executed, can
go a long way and that you can never be more original than the
original.
Radio
I really can't think of a favourite radio programme in Hong Kong, but I
would have more to say if only we had a jazz station ...
