Television
CNN and Cable News for keeping abreast of what goes on around the world
and here in Hong Kong.
Movies for entertainment. Occasionally I watch Cartoon Network's Johnny
Bravo and all-time classic Popeye with my two boys.
Press
Financial Times for international news.
I read Apple Daily to keep myself up to speed with what is unique about
Hong Kong. One does not want to be caught completely clueless in a
chitchat!
I like The Economist for more in-depth reports and analysis,
Architectural Digest and National Geographic for interest - and for
man-made and natural wonders.
Websites
I access various bank and investment sites for online banking. Yahoo for
a wide variety of topics for browsing.
I also turn to Adcritic.com for the latest review of creative works.
Advertising
Volkswagen - I like the surprise element in the series. It's refreshing
and more importantly, relevant.
I have also enjoyed the Budweiser "Whassup" campaign. Its strong empathy
with beer drinkers has captured my attention.
Audi Quattro's recent campaign offers a great product demonstration.
Radio
Albert Cheng's Talk Show in the morning while I am driving to see which
government department is stuck in the mud.
