DIARY: My media - Arlene Ang, chief executive officer, AdXplorer

Television

I don't get to watch a lot of TV because I tend to travel so much for

business. But what I do switch on to is CNN to find out about the latest

news following the terrorist attacks in the US. The news network also

has excellent analysis on the impact of events on business and the

economy.

Press

The Asian Wall Street Journal offers concise news. When I don't have

time to read the entire news, it offers very good world coverage on its

front page.

The South China Morning Post is also a good read, and when I'm

travelling in Singapore The Straits Times is what I pick up.

Because I travel so much, I end up reading a lot of inflight

magazines.

Websites

I have two favourite websites. The first is CNN.com, again because of

its news coverage. The website has good analysis on financial markets

and the impact of world events on the economy.

For leisure, I click onto Yahoo. It's not so heavy, and it's where I

check out the weather and search for information.

And, my MSN is always on so I can communicate with colleagues while

travelling.

Advertising

The i-mode stuff in Japan is very good. The new Oracle rich media ads

are also eye-catching and innovative.

Radio

BBC for world news at a time when things are changing quickly around us.
