Arriving in Asia from a position at Womankind Worldwide, Trudi soon set to work winning hearts and minds - and has been rewarded with the regional corporate communications director role for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, based in London. Comments from her colleagues bear witness to the impact she has had on the agency.
"Trudi has demonstrated to me the power of PR, which I will never forget and be sure to exploit in my future job positions!" said Leo Burnett regional business development director Stine Storm. "She is a true professional and perfectionist in everything she does contributing to her work, becoming a benchmark within our network. She will be greatly missed, but luckily only an email away ..."
"Quite simply, Trudi has been an inspiration," added her deputy Jane Fraser. "The depth of her knowledge, her phenomenal work output and her undying support has been a huge motivator to me. Her an uncanny ability to become excited about most tasks, her energy and enthusiasm, which is contagious, will be greatly missed in this region."
As for Trudi herself, she professes herself happy with the move back to the UK, which will see her reunited with former boss Richard Pinder.
She also notes that she will still be "watching" over Asia.
"The physical move is good in terms of being close to family and I'm also happy to still be involved in Asia-Pacific," she said. "Coming to Hong Kong was coming back for me as I had lived in Taiwan and Thailand before.I'm sure I'll be back at some stage."
Diary takes pleasure in wishing Trudi and her family the very best.
