<p>1 year ago </p><p>Hong Kong's second-largest beer brand, Heineken, leaves Bates after more than 15 years. Leo Burnett, which handles the brand in four other regional markets, is appointed instead. </p><p>Heineken Hong Kong marketing director Dougal McGeorge said: "We think Burnett is the ideal fit with Hong Kong's market needs at this time." </p><p>5 years ago </p><p>Japan Tobacco's TV campaigns 'Bench' and 'Soap Bubbles' snatch the Best of Show in both print and TV for Dentsu at Times Asia-Pacific Advertising Awards. </p><p>One spot shows a man arriving at a train station, who is interrupted every time he tries to light a cigarette and take a puff. At the end, two birds land on his hat and the slogan "Consideration given is pleasure gained" appears. </p><p>10 years ago </p><p>Local newspaper Ming Pao rolls out a new Chinese-language tabloid, Hong Kong Today, to target the high-spending 18-40 age group. Ming Pao group executive director Kelly Cheng said he hoped the new tabloid would expand the reading population. </p><p>15 years ago </p><p>Kent Lights enters the Hong Kong market to compete with a flurry of other 'light' variants of established cigarette brands that have already made their appearance. </p><p>An ad campaign, developed by Ball, includes TV commercial, press and poster ads. </p>
