Gupta, who will be based in Singapore, has been tasked with developing and steering communications and sustainability initiatives across all business divisions in the region. Prior to joining Citigroup in the US, Gupta was director of public affairs and communications for Citibank in South Asia.
Gupta succeeds Christina Goh, who has transferred to Germany to head up the global Express communications department.
