The new company, Brandimage - Desgripppes & Laga, claims to be the largest independent design agency in the world.
"The two companies have been working together for a while - we have complimentary portfolios, skills and drive," said Craig Briggs (pictured), who assumes the role of managing director for Brandimage Asia-Pacific.
The companies also have complimentary geographical spreads - Laga is particularly strong in the US, while Desgrippes’ strong European presence adds to its existing operations in North America and Asia-Pacific.
As Laga does not have offices in Asia-Pacific, no physical merging of offices has been required to form Brandimage in Asia-Pacific. However, Briggs explained that drawing from Laga’s industrial design expertise and attitude is a vital part of Brandimage’s proposition for Asia-Pacific, indicating that cross-pollination of staff is to be expected.
