The account was won post a multi-agency pitch where IPG Mediabrands was the incumbent.

Dentsu X bags the media business of Reckitt Benckiser in India
Reckitt Benckiser India has awarded its media business to dentsu X. 
 
FMCG multinational, Reckitt Benckiser India has marquee brands namely, Dettol, Mortein, Strepsils and Harpic among others, in its portfolio. 
 
The account was earlier managed by IPG Mediabrands. The business will shift effective January 1, 2020.
 
Divya Karani, chief executive officer, dentsu X, said, “We have won the Reckitt Benckiser India mandate. It is an absolute privilege to partner with such a strong, purpose-driven brand.
