Dentsu to acquire Aegis Group for $4.9 billion

GLOBAL - The boards of Dentsu and Aegis Group have announced an agreement on terms of a cash offer whereby Dentsu will acquire all Aegis stock for approximately £3.164 billion (US$4.9 billion), creating "a new global communications network for the digital age".
