DDB's Scarpelli to chair Spikes 2007

<P>The Asian Advertising Awards has named Bob Scarpelli, global chief creative officer of DDB Worldwide and chairman of DDB Chicago, as next year's chairman of the jury.  </P> <P>In his 28-year career, Scarpelli has created some of the most iconic and awarded advertising in the world, including the Budweiser 'Wassup' Cannes Grand Prix winner in 2000. Under his leadership, DDB Chicago has won metal at every major awards show. Scarpelli was named US chief creative officer at DDB in 2000, and in 2001 was made chairman in Chicago. After taking on the role of global creative chief last year, he was appointed chairman in April 2006. </P> <P>Next year, the Asian Advertising Awards or Spikes - now in its 21st year - will <BR>be held in Bali on April 26 and 27, together with the two-day Create conference.<BR></P>
