DDB Worldwide reshuffles management
Interbrand group chairman and group chief executive officer Chuck Brymer has been named president and CEO of DDB Worldwide, following the passing last week of Ken Kaess, aged 51.

In other moves, chief creative officer Bob Scarpelli will assume the additional role of chairman of the global network, succeeding Keith Reinhard, who takes on the chairman emeritus role.

Under Brymer's watch, Interbrand has expanded to more than 30 offices servicing clients in more than 80 countries, including AT&T, British Airways and Samsung. "Chuck's diverse experience within advertising and marketing services and his recognition that all great work stems from powerful ideas made him the obvious choice to lead DDB," said John Wren, president and CEO, Omnicom Group (pictured).

Scarpelli said he was honoured to succeed Reinhard as chairman. "I look forward to working with Chuck to unleash the potential of DDB and its people," said Scarpelli. "Chuck understands that our culture is one that puts people first and he values creativity," he added.
