DDB Tokyo lures KitKat star

TOKYO - Former JWT Tokyo executive vice-president, Takashi Takeda, has been named CEO of DDB Tokyu Agency Creative.

Takeda, who will report to John Zeigler, president and CEO of DDB Asia-Pacific, helped develop the ‘Juken’ (college entrance exam) campaign for Nestlé’s Kit Kat brand, which received the Platinum prize at both the 2005 and 2006 Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards.
