DDB tipped to scoop 3's HK account

HONG KONG: At press time, DDB was tipped to secure the advertising business of Hutchison's 3 brand, following a pitch against Ogilvy & Mather and Publicis Worldwide. While 3 would only say that a decision is expected soon, an industry source confirmed that DDB had bagged the account, and pointed to DDB ECD C. C. Tang as a pivotal factor. "There is a large amount of telecoms experience at DDB," said the source. "Tang worked on Orange and the agency launched 1010 in Hong Kong."
