DDB promotes Johnson to chief creative officer

SINGAPORE - DDB Singapore has promoted ECD Neil Johnson (pictured) to chief creative officer, while appointing Joji Jacob to Johnson's previous role.

Johnson will now helm a 60-strong team and oversee the creative departments at DDB, Rapp and Tribal DDB.

According to a statement, he has also been given a more active “solutions-making” role and more time to work directly with clients with Jacob now running the creative department at DDB. Jacob rejoined DDB Singapore in May, after a year away from the agency.

David Tang, president and CEO of DDB Singapore, said Johnson is “a superb creative, marketer and solutions-maker” and has “been on the forefront of delivering inventive, creative marketing solutions for clients such as StarHub, McDonald’s and Courts.”
