DDB HK names new MD
Donald Ma, formerly a new media consultant for BBC in Asia-Pacific, has been appointed managing director of DDB Hong Kong, reporting to president and CEO Tim Evill. <BR><BR> Tasked with expanding the agency's non-traditional advertising solutions business, Ma (pictured) will oversee the day-to-day management of DDB HK, including interactive arm Tribal DDB and CRM specialist Rapp Collins. Prior to joining BBC, Ma spent more than five years as director and general manager of Getty Images, responsible for Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Korea. <BR><BR> Speaking of his appointment, Ma said: "There is always room for improvement on things such as client relationships and understanding of their business and workflow efficiency. I am also looking to improve on providing a more integrated solution to our clients by leveraging the resources from DDB, Tribal DDB and Rapp Collins."
