Davis named global creative head of JWT

Craig Davis has been promoted to the role of worldwide chief creative officer at J. Walter Thompson. Davis, who also becomes chairman of JWT's worldwide creative council, previously oversaw the EMEA region at the agency, which he joined after departing Saatchi & Saatchi in 2004. The news comes as the network announced a repositioning that will see its name change to JWT, a new corporate logo, and a new 'point of view' that focuses on buying people's time.
