D&AD In Book winners, nominees for 2011 awards

ASIA-PACIFIC - D&AD has announced the In Book entries and nominees for its 2011 D&AD Awards night taking place in London on Thursday 16 June.

Asia-Pacific has received 15 nominations for Pencil Awards in 2011.

A total of 679 In Book entries and 168 nominations have been announced. 

From Asia-Pacific, 24 entries from Australia, 21 entries from Japan, 18 entries from Singapore, 12 entries from Hong Kong, seven entries from Malaysia, six from China, five each from the Philippines and New Zealand, four from India and three each from Indonesia and Thailand will feature In Book.

The number of entries from Hong Kong is up from only one last year.

Japan has also received seven nominations with three going to Dentsu and the remainder awarded to Case-Real, Yuusuke Karasawa Architects, Masaki+Qanta+Saqoosha+Hiroki and Hakuhodo.

Australia has received a total of four nominations, two going to Christopher Doyle and one each to Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. 

In Southeast Asia, Ogilvy & Mather Singapore and McCann Erickson Malaysia also received a nomination each. Elsewhere, India hauled two nominations for Ogilvy & Mather and Mudra Communications.
