CYTS partners with SinoTech for digital

BEIJING - Chinese national travel agency CYTS has appointed SinoTech as its agency-of-record for search, social media and digital marketing duties without a pitch.

According to Jason Liu, CYTS’ website sales director, the firm will work with SinoTech to “improve Chinese travellers’ online purchasing experience” by improving its website, aoyao.com.

Mathew McDougall (pictured), chief executive of SinoTech, said that the agency would aim to use “an integrated digital channels approach to successfully connect the CYTS brand with its online audience”.

McDougall noted that search marketing and social media were often approached as separate entities.
“We intend to generate community buzz and align that with search,” he explained.
