Cupples to take charge of OMD Asia-Pacific

LONDON - Barry Cupples is set to take charge of OMD Asia-Pacific, following the appointment of Mike Cooper (pictured) as chief executive of PHD Worldwide.

Cupples is currently the chief executive of OMD Central and Eastern Europe.

Cooper takes over from David Pattison, who left PHD in April to become the chief executive of ILG Digital, the parent company of digital agency i-level.

Cooper will report to Daryl Simm, the chief executive of Omnicom Media Group. Cooper declined to comment.
