MELBOURNE - Australian startup agency CumminsRoss has won the strategic and creative duties for Fonterra's beverages, dairy desserts and yoghurts business after a competitive pitch.

The appointment has taken effect immediately,

CumminsRoss, founded by Sean Cummins and Jason Ross in January this year, markets itself as a "one-stop shop" for creative, marketing and media services. Cummins told Campaign that this enabled the agency to "have some very big conversations" with potential clients.

CumminsRoss has succeeded in winning business from Jeep Chrysler, CGU Insurance and fellow startup Strategic Airlines, but the agency says the latest win is particularly special.

"We are still blocking out our choreography as a new entity in the marketplace, so it was great that all the moves worked during this process and our model really resonates," managing director Chris Jeffrares said. "It's a big win for us and we are extremely humbled by the appointment."
